Technical Profile

Senior Software Engineer. Computer Scientist.

Software engineer with Six years of professional experience across freelance projects, scientific research, enterprise SaaS, and product development. Computer Science graduate from the Federal University of Pelotas (UFPel), currently pursuing an M.Sc.

I work across the full stack — Vue.js, React, and Angular on the front-end; NestJS, PHP, and Java on the back-end; PostgreSQL, Redis, and MySQL for data; Docker and AWS for infrastructure. Most of my recent work has been greenfield: designing systems from scratch and taking them through to production.

My M.Sc. research at UFPel focuses on computer vision and intelligent systems. During my undergraduate research I developed a leukocyte counting algorithm using image processing techniques in Python and MATLAB.

Personal Profile

Background & Experience

Born in Arroio Grande, based in Pelotas. I started my career in 2020 as a freelancer, building e-commerce platforms, dashboards, and landing pages for clients across multiple industries. That period covered a wide range of projects and pushed me to work independently across the entire stack.

From 2022 to 2023 I worked at IA Hub/UFPel as a research collaborator, focusing on AI algorithms — search strategies, clustering, and deep learning. Concurrently, as a CNPq-funded researcher, I led development of a WSN-based pest monitoring platform combining computer vision and IoT dashboards. At Tibox I worked across two roles: as an IT Consultant handling critical production issues and code reviews, and as a Software Engineer maintaining enterprise platforms in PHP, React, and Next.js, with mobile work on Ionic/Angular. Currently, I am Senior Software Engineer at Maker Market, where I am building a 3D printing marketplace from the ground up.

Front-End

Designing responsive interfaces with strong attention to detail, performance, and user experience.

Back-End

Building reliable systems and APIs that handle real-world complexity and scale.

Data & AI

Working with data processing, computer vision, and intelligent systems for practical applications.

Expertise

Hard Skills & Toolset

On the front-end, I work primarily with Vue.js and Vuetify, and have shipped production work in React, Next.js, and Angular. I've worked with component libraries, design tokens, and data visualization tools like ApexCharts. Most designs go through Figma before reaching code.

On the back-end, my current stack is NestJS with Mikro-ORM and PostgreSQL. I've also worked extensively in PHP (CodeIgniter), Java, and Node.js, building REST APIs, handling authentication flows, integrating payment gateways, and deploying containerized services with Docker and AWS S3. I've also worked with Redis for caching and Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.

In research, I apply Python and MATLAB for image processing and computer vision — including a CNPq-funded project developing a leukocyte counting algorithm, and IoT monitoring dashboards for smart agriculture and environmental sensing.
